Reports of high foot traffic to a home resulted in the Thursday evening arrest of a Fremont man on several drug charges.

Gary Jindra, 26, was charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance-marijuana, two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana and one count of distribution of a controlled substance-Darvocet, all Class III felonies. He also was charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class IV felony; possession of marijuana-more than an ounce but less than a pound, a Class III misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction.

Members of the III-CORPS Drug Task Force and Fremont Police detectives served a search warrant Thursday evening at 249 N. Crosby St., said Deputy Chief Steve Tellatin.

While at Jindra’s residence, they found 82 grams of marijuana, numerous narcotic pills and a small amount of methamphetamine. Scales, plastic bags and other drug paraphernalia indicated drug sales, he said.

The investigation began last summer after neighbors started to complain of high traffic to and from the home.

Another resident, Amanda L. Jones, 19, was cited for possession of marijuana-less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia, both infractions. After being cited, she was released.

As of press time, Jindra remained in the Dodge County Jail. Bond has yet to be set and no future court dates were available.
