Bill and kids- When Jill and I went to Bahner's together, we had so much fun being silly and having fun. Jill was such a friend to me and we really bonded. I had full intentions of getting together with her this summer as I recently retired. How I wish I had done it!!!! Jill was a student at Bahner's when I was there, we were close and helped each other out. When I first heard the news I was at my 40th (1968) class reunion this last Friday night, but the name didn't click. I am really shocked and give my Sympathy to the Chapman and Bowen families. If I had known that when I talked to Jill last Friday, it would be the last time...I would have said so much more!! She was the real deal! When I find myself in tears, I think about some of the conversations we had and I totally crack up!! She was a riot! I will think of her EVERY time I look in the mirror (because I was supposed to get a perm on Monday and my hair looks like crap--LOL!! I loved our visits) I will miss her in many many ways!!

Jill and I dated in high school until I left for college. Jill didn't want a long distance relationship which I understood though there has been more than a few times in my life when I thought that maybe I shouldn't have left.

Jill was an amazing individual. I will forever miss her and the caring person she was. Jill is the only person who ever cut my hair, from my childhood until my last visit Thursday night. I truly enjoyed my visits with her and will cherish our last conversation. She was absolutely a person who loved life and had the ability to always make people feel welcome and comfortable in her shop. My heart goes out to your family during this difficult time. I graduated with Jill and Larry graduated with Bill, and although we live in Omaha now, we still have many connections in Fremont, and heard about Jill from 3 people Sat. morning. We haven't kept in touch over the years but I do remember the last time I ran into her; at my sister's 4th of July party a few years back. We caught up on our families, and I will whole-heartedly agree with all of the other well-wishers. You didn't talk to Jill without laughing and smiling because hers was so contagious. I am so saddened for this tragic loss of life. May God's love and peace be with you all.

Even though I didn't see Jill much, I knew her from school and every time I would run into her, she was just so warm and friendly. She always asked about my family. My heart aches for the family and co-workers who have to go through this aweful tragedy. Time will heal some of this pain (I know personally) but never never forget how many peoples lives she touched and impacted. God Bless you all!

Jill was a neat person and she will be missed by so many (her friends and all her clients) Take comfort of how many lives she touched and God will be with you and take care of you in your grief.
To the gals at the shop: You all have to continue to take good care of the shop and have joy with all the good memoriesyou had working with Jill.

I've known Jill for alot of years and also was a customer of her shop.
She was always so friendly and had such a wonderful personality. I know how terrible it is to lose a loved one. Just keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart. She will be missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Jill's Family: There are no words to express how sorry we are. I prayed to God for a miracle that night, but when Lori & I seen the rainbow, we knew it was a sign from Jill. After seeing all the people today at her funeral, I feel so blessed to have been her friend.

I am so sad about the news. I couldn't ask for a better friend in high school. I visited with Jill at our last class reunion and she confirmed why I still have her in my memories. So caring and upbeat. A wonderful person to look forward to in heaven!! I already see her cute dimples!

Our hearts ache for your loss. Jill wss a dear and loving friend for 30 years. She was so very special to our family and she will be in our hearts our entire lifetime. Her family was her greatest love and during our appointments we would always catch-up on what was going on in our children's lives. It is what mother's do best.
