A Fremont teenager was arrested after running from officers on bicycle patrol after a verbal argument, Fremont Police said.
Jacob Booze, 18, of Fremont was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer, a Class I misdemeanor, and minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor.
Lt. Jeff Elliott said officers on bicycle patrol just before midnight witnessed a verbal argument between three men who ran when approached. Two stopped on command, but Booze kept running. The other two were not arrested.
As of press time Booze remained in the Dodge County Jail in lieu of a $644 cash bond. No future court dates were available.
