Man charged with multiple offenses

A Fremont man is facing new charges after being arrested on a Saunders County Warrant Wednesday evening, Fremont Police reported.

Sidale Ridgebear, 25, of Fremont was charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class IV felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class V misdemeanor.

Lt. Jeff Elliott said Ridgebear was arrested in the 2600 block of N. Laverna Street on a Saunders County warrant for driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor, and speeding, an infraction. When he was searched, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

As of press time, Ridgebear remains in the Dodge County Jail. Bond had yet to have been set and no future court dates were available.
