The funeral for Beverly Houser, 69, of Fremont will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
She died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.
She was born Aug. 12, 1938, to Alfred and Mabel (Launer) Madsen in Fremont. She was a life resident of Fremont and a graduate of Fremont High School.
She was a member of American Legion Post No. 20 Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 200 Auxiliary, both of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: a son, Stephen Houser of Fremont; a daughter, Liz Schaefer of San Mateo, Calif.; two brothers, Raymond “Pete” Madsen and Howard “Davey” (and wife, Donna) Madsen, all of Fremont; a sister, Marjorie Widman of Fremont;
five grandchildren; and special friend, Al Cerny of Fremont.
The Rev. Scott Jensen, chaplain of Fremont Area Medical Center, will officiate Thursday’s service. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends 7-8 p.m. today, all at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
