A motion to suppress evidence was taken under advisement Tuesday in Dodge County Court in a drunken driving case.

Judge Kenneth Vampola allowed 10 days for the attorney for Steven Hromas, 22, of Fremont to research case law and brief the case.

Hromas is charged with DUI-first offense, a Class W misdemeanor.

Fremont Police Sgt. Shane Wimer testified that he pulled Hromas over in the early morning hours of June 7 because he had no front license plate on his car. Hromas’ attorney argued that because the license plate was on his client’s dashboard, the stop should be suppressed.
