Post details: The Finale (preview)
The moment we've all been waiting for is a mere 24 hours away.
Who will outsing their opponent to covet the title of the next American Idol. Will it be the super rocker Adam Lambert, with vocals that have been compared to Steven Tyler and Mick Jagger; or is it the humble Kris Allen whose performances have been understated but leave a mark on audiences?
Last week Ryan announced there were only a mere 1 million votes separating Lambert from Allen. So who will do enough to garner those precious votes left when Danny Gokey was voted off?
Give me your predictions as to who you think the winner will be and why.

Adam! He is easily the most talented. He can accesorize! He is gorgeous and entertaining and each and every one of his performances is memorable. I feel like he is singing just for me.

I do believe that Seacrest said there were 1 million votes separating the bottom 2. You are assuming that Danny and Adam were the bottom 2. It was NEVER mentioned who the bottom 2 were.
From all internet polls Adam was the clear winner going into the finale with Danny and Kris at a tie.

I am an Adam fan. I believe that Adam will win because he is the best. I also believe that Adam will throw it "balls to the wall" on tomorrow night. He will hold nothing back, leave no stone unturned, and make sure that all his cards are on the table. You think that he has been good so far? Please, you aint seen nothing yet. I still stand by my prediction made in this very blog on February 4 that Adam was the one to watch (look it up!). And now it is his to win. I think it will be closer than what was thought just a few weeks ago.
Tonight each performer will sing a previously performed song, a song chosen by Idol creator Simon Fuller and the coronation song (yuk!).
Supposedly Adam is bringing back Mad World with a 'twist.' How can you improve on perfection? Can't wait. As for Kris, it sounds like (for now) it won't be Falling Slowly or Heartless (his two best received performances). We'll just have to wait and see.
I easily see an Adam victory, but just as easily can see an upset. I think Kris will get Danny Gokey's votes - just don't know how many. This has become a legitimate horse race.
