About the Fremont Tribune

Since 1868, the Fremont Tribune has delivered news and shopping information to the homes and businesses of eastern Nebraska. More than 9,000 copies of the Tribune are read in Burt, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Saunders and Washington counties every Monday through Friday afternoon and every Saturday morning. The Marketplace, a shopper published by the Tribune, is delivered to non-subscribers in the same area every Tuesday. Together, the Fremont Tribune and the Marketplace reach nearly 38,000 households in this seven-county market area.

Located at 135 N. Main in downtown Fremont, the Tribune employs approximately 50 full-time and 20 part-time employees. More than 250 carriers and contract drivers ensure that the Tribune subscribers and Marketplace recipients receive their publications on time.

The Tribune is owned by Lee Enterprises. The Tribune is dedicated to providing the latest news, sports and advertising to its readers. The newspaper also strives to provide its advertisers with the area's most efficient and cost-effective mediums for reaching prospective customers.
